Product Description
Daubert Cromwell EVAPO-RUST is an award-winning rust eliminator. Derusts
without dismantling. EVAPO-RUST will not harm copper, brass, aluminum, plastic,
rubber, wood or vinyl. It will not remove non-oxide coatings, such as paint or chrome,
that are still adhered to the surface.

Guidelines For Use
Pre-clean items to remove oil and dirt. Rinse items and immerse fully in EVAPO-RUST.
Check progress periodically. Works best when the solution is at 60°F or higher. Soak time
varies with severity of rust. Light surface rust will require 5-30 minutes, moderate rust up
to 4 hours, and deeply rusted parts may require overnight soaking. To prep surface for
coatings; once rust is removed, rinse item with soap and water, dry and apply coating per
manufacturer’s instructions. EVAPO-RUST can also be used as a temporary rust inhibitor.
To prevent re-rusting, simply dip the item back in EVAPO-RUST and allow to dry. Package
the clean part with Daubert Cromwell VCI for best results.

Storage and Disposal
Store unused EVAPO-RUST in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not
store above 130°F (55°C). EVAPO-RUST is sewerable in neat form. If no hazardous
contaminants are introduced, only the iron content of the solution should dictate the
disposal method. In most cases, it can be safely put down the drain. Always dispose of
product per local, regulations.
